These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KASA mobile application ("the App", "KASA", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The Service

KASA is a tool that helps you record and track your sales, income, expenses, goals, and related business figures. It is provided "as is" to assist with your own record-keeping. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use KASA. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

3. Free Trial & Subscriptions

Free trial: New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No payment details are required to start the trial.
Subscription: To continue using KASA after the trial, an auto-renewable subscription is required: £4.99 per month or £39.99 per year (prices may vary by region and are shown in the App before purchase).
Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Managing & cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; the current paid period remains active until it ends.
Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not process payments or issue refunds directly. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

4. Your Data

The business and financial information you enter belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export a full backup of your data at any time, and you can permanently delete your account and all data from within the App (Profile → Delete Account).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use KASA for any unlawful purpose or to record fraudulent information;
Attempt to access other users' data, or to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or compromise the App or its systems;
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the App without our written permission.

6. Not Financial, Tax, or Accounting Advice

KASA is a record-keeping tool only. It does not provide financial, tax, accounting, legal, or investment advice. Figures, totals, reports, and insights shown in the App are based solely on the data you enter and are provided for your convenience. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your records and for meeting your own tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. Always consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

7. Availability & Changes

We aim to keep KASA available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the App or by email, and continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KASA and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). We strongly recommend keeping your own independent backups of important data.

9. Termination

You may stop using KASA and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that harms other users or our systems.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
